Okay for some time I have seen what others (politicians) run peoples lives, namely my own. So back in March I took a chance and stepped out of my comfort zone briefly. Long enough to sign my name, with my brother, to paper to join a company, a company which I knew nothing about, but understood it's purpose, Real Estate Investing.

I know you must be saying, "Are you nutz?, why would you invest or even buy in this down market?" Yes I asked myself that same question, AFTER I signed. Then I realized, if you were buying stocks, when would you buy? Well the hell with you, when would I buy? LOW right and hopefully sell high and get a profit, right? So why not do that with Real Estate?

So I started looking in to what it takes to be a Real Estate Investor and more importantly, can I afford to? I started calling members in the community before I went to college and found out I was thinking about this wrong. I found out it takes 3 things to buy property.

1. Money (not necessarily mine)
2. Time (got a flexible job, got that)
3. Knowledge (i.e. know how to leverage resources)

So I didn't have money, but I found out I can use someone's else's money or credit, I have the time to research, but don't know how to research it, so I discovered in me, I need the Knowledge.

So who makes the most money, typically? Those with the most knowledge right?

So I decided to get the knowledge! Finding Nouveau Riche became a good thing, because as of to date, I have been to 3 different colleges. That is to say I have been to 3 sessions of college and have learned a HUGE amount of information. The info I have learned has helped me save so far in money I might have spent, helped me save money in TAXES, helped me help other in preventing them mistakes. The knowledge is incredible.

My brother and I are doing our fist short sale right now, we are learning so much from the actual activity, but where I thought I would be nervous, I am not. I talk on the banks terms, I speak their language, I use and fully understand their paper work, how to research the property and analyze the deal. I didn't even realize the knowledge I have obtained and just how well I have put it together.

I didn't know squat about what I am doing today, when I signed my name in March of this year.
